How You’ll Make a Difference
Reporting to the General Manager, you’ll spearhead maintenance leadership while advancing manufacturing processes. You’ll coordinate technicians, partner with engineering, and work with vendors — always with safety, quality, and efficiency as your guideposts.
Key Impact Areas
- Create and enforce maintenance procedures; maintain PM schedules and documentation.
- Diagnose and resolve issues on electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and plumbing systems; strengthen facility reliability.
- Design and specify machinery and tooling; review equipment against specifications and quality standards.
- Map workflows, right-size labor, and redesign layouts for maximum throughput and safe operations.
- Plan and supervise installations and repairs; allocate technician workload and direct daily activities.
- Estimate timing, staffing, and costs; advise leaders on production plans and capabilities.
- Use statistical tools to project future manufacturing requirements and capacity.
- Manage maintenance budgets and expenses; support CAPEX and plant operating budget planning.
- Coordinate contractors and service providers; adjust hours to meet production needs; take on additional assignments as needed.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s in Engineering with 3+ years of related experience (or equivalent combination).
- Leadership in a maintenance or manufacturing setting — hiring, training, performance management, and coaching.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills; resilient change agent; able to align teams and empower action.
- Decisive problem-solver; fluent in Microsoft Office; PLC programming and E‑Maintenance familiarity are pluses.
- Hands-on strength in equipment troubleshooting and machine setup for production runs.
Technology Environment
- CAD: AutoCAD, Autodesk Inventor
- Industrial robotics (experience preferred)
