Role Snapshot

  • Preventive maintenance, inspections, and precision adjustments on production equipment and building systems
  • Rapid response to breakdowns; diagnose and correct mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and HVAC issues
  • Document work orders, maintenance activities, and equipment history accurately
  • Assist with equipment installations, modifications, testing, and start-up
  • Collaborate with Production, Engineering, and Quality to boost reliability and throughput
  • Contribute to continuous improvement efforts and suggest process upgrades
  • Support planned shutdowns, changeovers, and project work
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area; follow all safety, food safety, quality, and environmental procedures

Must-Haves

  • High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent
  • 2+ years of maintenance experience in manufacturing, industrial, food production, or similar environments
  • Mechanical aptitude with strong troubleshooting skills
  • Hands-on knowledge of mechanical/electrical systems, hydraulics, pneumatics, and HVAC
  • Ability to read blueprints, wiring diagrams, schematics, and technical manuals
  • Confidence with hand/power tools, measuring devices, and diagnostic equipment
  • Works well independently and in cross-functional teams
  • Organized, detail-oriented, and proactive
  • Open to overtime, weekend, and holiday work as needed

Nice-to-Haves

  • Technical degree, apprenticeship, or vocational training in Maintenance, Mechatronics, Industrial Technology, Electrical Technology, or related areas
  • Experience with PLCs, automation platforms, VFDs, robotics, and industrial controls
  • Trade certifications (Electrical, Mechanical, HVAC, Welding, etc.)
  • Food manufacturing experience and familiarity with GMPs

Physical & Environmental

  • Stand, walk, bend, kneel, stoop, and climb during shifts
  • Lift/move up to 50 lbs regularly
  • Work at heights and within confined spaces as required
  • Use required PPE at all times
  • Exposure to moving machinery, industrial equipment, temperature swings, noise, and industrial chemicals
