Maintenance Technician

Arrow International is seeking a Maintenance Technician for our second-shift production team. In this hands-on role, you’ll troubleshoot, repair, and maintain the machinery and electrical systems that keep our manufacturing operation running.

We’re looking for someone who enjoys figuring out equipment problems, takes pride in dependable repairs, and puts safety first. Manufacturing maintenance experience is preferred.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Install, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain production machinery, electrical equipment, and plant power systems.

  • Follow work orders, drawings, schematics, wiring diagrams, manuals, and verbal instructions.

  • Diagnose mechanical and electrical issues and complete repairs while minimizing production downtime.

  • Inspect and service motors, controls, wiring, bearings, brushes, commutators, and related components.

  • Disassemble equipment as needed, repair or replace defective parts, and reassemble and test systems using electrical measuring devices.

  • Perform preventive maintenance to keep equipment operating safely and reliably.

  • Maintain electrical supply inventory and request replacement materials as needed.

  • Document maintenance work, repairs, and equipment issues accurately.

  • Report faulty equipment, defective materials, and unusual operating conditions to supervision.

  • Recommend improvements that support equipment reliability, efficiency, and product quality.

  • Follow safety rules and company procedures, use tools properly, and keep work areas organized.

  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications & Skills

  • Previous experience in industrial maintenance, mechanical repair, electrical maintenance, or equipment troubleshooting preferred.

  • Experience working with manufacturing equipment, plant machinery, motors, controls, or electrical systems preferred.

  • Ability to read and interpret schematics, wiring diagrams, drawings, manuals, and work orders.

  • Basic understanding of electrical systems and safe troubleshooting practices.

  • Familiarity with electrical measuring devices and standard maintenance tools.

  • Ability to diagnose problems, perform preventive maintenance, and complete repairs safely.

  • Strong attention to detail, communication skills, and commitment to quality.

  • Ability to work independently and alongside production and maintenance teams.

  • Availability to work second shift.

Physical Requirements & Working Conditions

  • Work in a manufacturing environment around operating machinery and varying noise levels.

  • Stand, walk, bend, reach, climb, stoop, kneel, push, and pull as needed throughout the shift.

  • Safely handle the tools, equipment, and materials required for maintenance work.
