Swiss/5-Axis CNC Production Machinist

The role at a glance

• Operate multiple CNC machines (including Swiss and 5-axis) to achieve production goals
• Hold tolerances to ±0.0001” and verify quality with precision instruments
• Perform tool changes, wear and geometry offsets, and on-the-fly adjustments
• Interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and GD&T callouts
• Deburr, clean, tag, and move parts efficiently between operations
• Capture inspection and production data accurately
• Complete routine and preventive maintenance; maintain a safe, organized area

Qualifications

• 2+ years of CNC machining experience; advanced teammates take on added responsibility
• Experience on multi-axis (3/4/5), mill-turn, or Swiss-style platforms
• Ability to read blueprints and apply core machining fundamentals
• Proficiency using inspection tools to confirm part conformity
• Strong mechanical aptitude, problem-solving ability, and multi-machine focus

Preferred

• Run jobs independently after setup
• Setup assistance, troubleshooting, or mentoring experience
