Barista

About this role

We are looking for a friendly and professional Barista to run our in-house office café. You will serve high-quality coffee and beverages to our team and visitors, keep the café clean and well organized, and manage stock and daily reports. You will play a key part in creating a welcoming office environment and a strong first impression for our guests.

What you will do

Beverage Service

• Greet staff and visitors warmly and present the beverage menu professionally
• Take orders accurately and prepare coffee, tea and other drinks to company standards and personal preferences
• Serve drinks promptly with consistent quality and presentation
• Support hospitality for meetings, client visits and internal events

Café Operations & Hygiene

• Keep the café area, equipment, cups and utensils clean and organized at all times
• Operate, clean and do basic maintenance on coffee machines and beverage equipment
• Report equipment faults to the Office Manager promptly
• Follow all health, safety and food hygiene standards

Inventory & Cost Control

• Monitor stock levels of coffee, milk, tea, snacks and supplies
• Raise supply requests in time to avoid shortages
• Prevent wastage and losses
• Prepare daily consumption and monthly inventory reports

What we are looking for

• Minimum [1–2] years of experience as a Barista, ideally in a café, hotel or corporate setting
• Good knowledge of espresso-based drinks and coffee machine operation
• Knowledge of hygiene and food safety standards (a food safety certificate is an advantage)
• Good spoken English; Arabic or other languages are a plus
• Well-presented, polite and service-minded
• Organized, reliable and punctual
• Basic computer or phone skills for simple stock reports
• Working days: 6 days a week
• Shifts: Rotational shifts
