Maintenance Technician

Responsibilities

• Perform repair and maintenance on plant equipment, machinery, and building systems
• Troubleshoot and repair presses, conveyors, CNC equipment, assembly machinery, and automated systems
• Support production and maintenance team goals across multiple departments
• Assist with equipment set-ups and continuous improvement initiatives
• Follow all safety procedures, including Lockout/Tagout and electrical safe work practices
• Complete preventive maintenance tasks, corrective repairs, and equipment improvements
• Accurately complete maintenance documentation, downtime tracking, and work orders
• Operate forklifts and aerial lifts as needed
• Participate in lean manufacturing and waste reduction initiatives
• Support overall plant operations and additional maintenance projects as assigned

Qualifications

Required Skills & Experience

• Strong knowledge of hydraulic, pneumatic, lubrication, and mechanical systems
• Ability to read and interpret electrical diagrams and schematics
• Experience with MIG and/or arc welding and cutting torches
• Experience troubleshooting industrial manufacturing equipment
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
• Knowledge of manufacturing quality and environmental standards preferred
• Some PLC troubleshooting experience preferred

Education

• High School Diploma or GED required
• Technical or vocational training preferred

Experience

• Minimum of 5 years of industrial or plant maintenance experience preferred
