A Day in the Shop

7:00 AM — You clock in, open a fresh work order on your tablet, and T3 has already flagged a fault on a compact excavator. By 9:00 AM, you’ve verified the code, traced an intermittent electrical issue with OEM diagnostic software, and documented your steps right in T3. After lunch, a boom lift arrives with a hydraulic drift complaint; you isolate the cause using schematics and pressure readings, order parts, and help coordinate pick-up and delivery. Before the day ends, you take a few minutes to mentor a junior tech on safe torque procedures and best practices for diesel aftertreatment.

  • Independently diagnose and repair mechanical, hydraulic, electrical, and diesel systems on rental and customer fleets — including aerial lifts
  • Interpret wiring and hydraulic schematics; utilize OEM and advanced diagnostic software to pinpoint root causes
  • Document findings, parts, and labor daily using T3 on a laptop/tablet for complete work order accuracy
  • Support logistics with equipment and parts pick-up/delivery as needed
