Precision CNC Setup Specialist (Mills, Lathes & Swiss)

Shape precision from raw stock—one setup at a time

Picture your day starting at a clean, organized workstation. You review the job traveler, pull up the program, verify offsets, and run a first-article check. With micrometers and gauges in hand, you confirm dimensions, chart SPC, and dial in tools to hit tight tolerances. As parts flow, you keep a watchful eye on quality, tweak feeds and speeds, and resolve minor issues to keep production humming—all while maintaining safety and production standards.

What you'll handle

  • Configure and run CNC machinery to produce precision components
  • Interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and job specifications
  • Deliver high-accuracy, close-tolerance machined parts
  • Inspect using measuring tools and gauges; complete in-process checks
  • Hold strict quality standards and tight tolerances throughout the run
  • Document inspections and complete SPC checks accurately
  • Diagnose and correct minor equipment or process issues
  • Adhere to safety protocols and meet production goals

What you bring

  • Hands-on CNC machining experience
  • Strong blueprint reading ability
  • Background with GD&T and close-tolerance work preferred
  • Swiss CNC exposure is a plus

  • CNC Lathe (5+ axis) (Mazak, Okuma, Doosan, Dmg Mori Seiki)
