Plant Mechanical Systems Troubleshooting Specialist

What you’ll do
Picture this: production is running at full tilt, and a pump suddenly underperforms. You review the blueprint, verify the hydraulic circuit, isolate the issue, and get the line back up—safely and quickly. Between calls, you perform preventive and predictive maintenance so the next interruption never happens.
- Perform scheduled preventive and predictive maintenance on production assets
- Troubleshoot and repair conveyors, motors, gearboxes, pumps, and hydraulic systems
- Diagnose mechanical failures to minimize downtime
- Interpret and apply blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals
- Adhere to safety protocols and quality requirements
- Work side-by-side with production and maintenance teammates
What you bring
- Substantial heavy mechanical experience in industrial or manufacturing settings
- Hands-on background with industrial production equipment
- Demonstrated troubleshooting and mechanical repair skills
- Self-directed performance on 2nd or 3rd shift
- Union manufacturing experience is a plus
