A new aerospace component lands on your desk: exotic alloy, aggressive tolerances, and a delivery window that demands repeatability across hundreds of units. You deconstruct the print, plan manufacturing intent, design an error‑proof fixture in Siemens NX, program efficient multi‑axis strategies in hyperMILL/NX, validate with probing, and publish crystal‑clear instructions so even a newer setup tech can run with confidence. Along the way, you log two workflow bugs, propose an automation enhancement, and ship a robust program—on time.

How you’ll contribute

  • Create standards‑aligned CAM packages and CNC posts that run safely and efficiently.
  • Write concise, visual work instructions tailored to a range of skill levels.
  • Adapt quickly to evolving technology; provide actionable feedback to improve internal automation and close application gaps.
  • Capture and act on shop feedback to refine CAM processes and drive continuous improvement at scale.
  • Identify and communicate process gaps to CAM Process Designers for integration or revision.
  • Design robust fixturing with 3‑2‑1 principles, Poka‑Yoke features, and equation‑driven logic; follow rigorous CAD design‑tree practices and internal workflows.
  • Maximize Hadrian’s Co‑Pilot CAM integration daily to accelerate high‑quality output.
  • Keep stakeholders aligned via email, messaging apps, and Microsoft Office.

  • Production programming for 3‑/5‑axis CNC machines with high‑tolerance parts.
  • Experience in aerospace or similarly exacting industries.
  • Deep respect for safety, quality systems, and intelligent tool selection.
  • Comfort with GD&T; interpret CMM reports to diagnose and correct dimensional problems.
  • Willingness to test new approaches and drive development work in live operations.
