Chief of Staff

About the Role

A well-funded, AI-native B2B SaaS company operating in the industrial procurement space is looking for a Chief of Staff to partner directly with the CEO and core leadership team. This is a high-impact, high-ownership role at a 100+ person company that sits at the intersection of talent, organisational development, and AI enablement — with scope to expand into broader CEO-level strategic priorities as the company scales.

What You'll Do

  • Translate strategic priorities into actionable plans and drive measurable progress across the organisation.
  • Support the CEO in preparing key decisions and keeping critical initiatives on track.
  • Build, lead, and scale the end-to-end talent function, with a direct team reporting to you.
  • Identify, engage, and close top talent across departments to fuel company growth.
  • Co-own org development programmes including performance management, compensation & career frameworks, and leadership development.
  • Champion AI enablement across all teams — pushing adoption of new tools and workflows.
  • Lead internal communications and change management to keep 100+ people aligned on priorities and direction.
  • Expand scope into market expansion or cross-functional strategy as business needs evolve.

What We're Looking For

Must-haves:

  • 3–5+ years of experience in a high-performance environment — Tier 1 consulting (e.g. MBB), VC, high-growth startup, banking, or founding experience.
  • Proven, hands-on ownership of talent functions end-to-end across multiple departments, including team management.
  • Demonstrated experience collaborating with a CEO on performance management, compensation frameworks, and leadership development.
  • Deeply AI-native: daily use of AI tools with a proven track record of driving company-wide AI adoption.
  • Strong structured problem-solving skills paired with rapid execution speed.
  • Excellent stakeholder management and cross-functional collaboration at the executive level.
  • Outgoing, persuasive communicator who builds strong relationships across all levels.
  • High agency, strong judgment, and resilience for sustained high-intensity work.

Nice to have:

  • Experience leading expansion or cross-functional strategy beyond talent and org development.
  • Familiarity with AI-enabled transformation across multiple business functions.
  • Exposure to European tech ecosystems or manufacturing/procurement domains.
