What Challenge Are You Solving?
Customers need a partner who can translate operational pain points into material handling solutions that drive ROI. In this role, you will combine technical fluency with enterprise selling to expand market share and deliver profitable growth.
How You’ll Win
- Drive Territory Strategy: Build and execute plans to acquire new customers and expand existing relationships.
- Be the Trusted Advisor: Learn the customer’s business and match needs with equipment, service programs, preventive maintenance, parts, repairs, rental power, and rental services.
- Make the Case for Change: Deliver demos and presentations that clearly lay out why to change, why now, and why you and CTE are the right team.
- Engineer Outcomes: Propose improvements that mitigate risk, cut costs, and grow revenue.
- Read the Market: Track trends and competitive signals to inform your approach.
- Own the Details: Build estimates, specifications, and proposals; provide accurate, complete RFP responses with strong technical solutions.
- Quantify Value: Analyze cost-benefit ratios in the customer’s environment; recommend equipment, process, or service changes.
- Fund the Deal: Develop financing solutions tailored to diverse requirements.
- Speak the Language of Business: Engage confidently on inventory, asset management, ROI, and financial statement analysis.
- Run a Clean Process: Document every touchpoint in CRM and quoting systems from first contact through close and follow-up.
- Adapt as Needed: Other duties as assigned.

- Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree preferred (or significant related technical experience).
- Track record in industrial services or technical sales with measurable wins.

Tools & Technical Acumen

Physical Demands & Work Environment
Expect regular standing, walking, hand use, reaching, and talking/hearing; frequent sitting; and the ability to frequently lift, carry, push, pull, or otherwise move up to 25 pounds. Vision needs include close, distance, peripheral, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
