Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician with experience troubleshooting, maintaining, and repairing CNC machines and related manufacturing equipment. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring optimal machine performance, minimizing downtime, and supporting production through preventive maintenance and rapid response to equipment issues. This role requires strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting abilities and a commitment to maintaining a safe and efficient manufacturing environment.
Key Responsibilities
Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair CNC machines and automated manufacturing equipment.
Perform preventive and predictive maintenance to ensure equipment reliability and minimize downtime.
Identify mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic issues and implement effective repairs.
Interpret technical manuals, blueprints, electrical schematics, and machine documentation.
Replace or repair defective components such as motors, drives, sensors, bearings, belts, and control systems.
Support machine setup, calibration, and alignment to ensure proper operation and precision.
Collaborate with production teams to quickly resolve machine malfunctions and maintain production schedules.
Maintain maintenance logs, repair records, and preventive maintenance documentation.
Assist with installation, relocation, and commissioning of CNC machines and manufacturing equipment.
Follow all safety procedures, lockout/tagout protocols, and company maintenance standards.
Required Qualifications
High school diploma or GED required; technical or vocational training in industrial maintenance, mechatronics, or a related field preferred.
Proven experience troubleshooting and repairing CNC machines in a manufacturing environment.
Strong understanding of mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
Ability to read electrical diagrams, schematics, and equipment manuals.
Experience with PLC-based equipment and basic control systems troubleshooting is preferred.
Familiarity with preventive maintenance systems and maintenance documentation.
Strong problem-solving and diagnostic skills.
