What you’ll do

• Blend additives into a consistent Dry Blend powder.
• Weigh ingredients for production runs and manage raw material storage per our material control program.
• Use console controls to meter bulk materials from silos/tanks to mixing vessels by following computer-generated load sheets.
• Package finished PVC pellets into boxes and bags, select silos, and apply labels exactly as scheduled.
• Start each run with safety checks to ensure melt‑mixing equipment is operating correctly.
• Follow all setup conditions and processing instructions tied to the manufacturing schedule.
• Share quality/process updates with teammates; escalate issues to the Lead or Supervisor.
• Provide break relief and step into any line or job as needed.
• Keep your area clean and organized; attend department meetings.
• Demonstrate teamwork and flexibility with overtime; complete a 90‑day probation.

Physical requirements

• Handle, cut, and dump up to 60‑lb bags multiple times per shift.
• Scoop material from boxes/drums—loading 20,000–40,000 lbs during a shift.
• Operate forklifts and hand trucks; handle drums and related equipment.
• Scrape inside blenders; climb ladders and stairs.
• Bend, stoop, lean for extended periods; wear required PPE.

Qualifications

• Read/interpret documents and apply practical problem-solving.
• Math proficiency: whole numbers, fractions, decimals; compute rate, ratio, percent; interpret bar graphs.
• Reliable attendance and a strong work ethic for continuous production.
• Lift 50 lbs repeatedly; climb stairs; work in warm-to-hot environments.
• Train on first shift (up to 4 weeks), then move to 2nd or 3rd; overtime may include Saturdays/Sundays.
• Licensed, safety-focused forklift operator. PPE provided: certified safety shoes, safety glasses, hearing protection, respirator as needed.

Pay, schedule, and incentives

• Shift available: 2nd Shift (2:40pm – 11:00pm).
• Shift differential: +$1.25/hr for 2nd; +$1.50/hr for 3rd.
• Workweek: 8‑hour production shifts; paid weekly.
• Overtime planning: OT schedule posted 1 year in advance; most holiday weekends are unscheduled.
• Sign-on bonus: $1,000 total—$250 after 30 days, $250 after 90 days, $500 after 180 days.
• Referral bonus: Earn cash for great hires you recommend.
