Manufacturing Shipping Technician

Responsibilities

• Prepare and package products for shipment, ensuring all items are secure and labeled correctly.
• Coordinate with production teams to schedule and prioritize shipping activities.
• Maintain accurate shipping records and documentation for inventory management.
• Operate shipping equipment and tools safely and efficiently.
• Inspect outgoing shipments for quality and compliance with company standards.
• Assist in inventory management, including receiving and organizing incoming materials.
• Collaborate with team members to improve shipping processes and reduce delays.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; additional education in logistics or manufacturing is a plus.
• Previous experience in shipping, receiving, or manufacturing preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to lift heavy packages and operate forklifts or pallet jacks.
• Excellent communication skills and a team-oriented mindset.
• Proficiency in basic computer applications and inventory management systems.
• Willingness to work flexible hours, including overtime when necessary.
