Warehouse Pallet Transport Technician

Where: Niles, IL

Pay: $22.00 per hour

Pay Frequency: Weekly

Shift: Full-Time, 3rd Shift

Nexus Employment Solutions Plus, Inc. is seeking skilled forklift operators to keep materials flowing in a fast-paced food manufacturing warehouse. Steady work, a supportive team, and a safety-first culture await.

Your impact

• Safely operate forklifts and other powered industrial equipment
• Load, unload, move, stack, and stage pallets and materials
• Accurately pick and prep orders for shipment
• Handle receiving, put-away, and inventory transactions using RF scanners and warehouse systems
• Conduct cycle counts and maintain precise inventory records
• Replenish production lines and relocate pallets as needed
• Complete daily equipment inspections and basic checks
• Verify inbound/outbound shipments; identify and report damage
• Maintain clean, organized work areas and follow food safety, GMP, OSHA, and company safety guidelines
• Perform additional warehouse duties as assigned

What you’ll need to succeed

• High school diploma or GED
• Proven forklift experience (required)
• Background in warehouse or food manufacturing (preferred)
• Basic computer skills (Excel and Word)
• Strong organizational, analytical, and multitasking abilities
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for long periods
• Comfort with bending, twisting, and reaching
• Ability to work weekends and mandatory overtime when needed
• Reliable, safety-minded, and effective working solo or on a team
