Metrology and Quality Systems Engineer

What challenges will you tackle?

  • How would you cut non-conformances using metrology insights, SPC trends, and crisp reporting?
  • Can you translate APQP into action—building robust control/inspection plans, leading FMEA/PFMEA, and packaging airtight PPAP and FAIR submissions?
  • Will you lead MRB and RCCA so fixes become systemic improvements, not one-offs?
  • How will you partner with customers, suppliers, and production to prove every specification is satisfied?
  • Are you ready to plan and execute audits across documentation, parts, processes, products, suppliers, and customers?
  • Can you mentor teammates so quality scales with growth?

What you’ll need to excel

  • ASQ CQE or a two-year engineering-related degree with 5+ years in manufacturing quality (or equivalent experience)
  • Exposure to Battery Production, Machining, and/or Electronic Assembly & harnessing is advantageous
  • High ethical standards and professional conduct
  • Facilitation prowess, conflict resolution, and practical leadership
  • Sharp analytical judgment to interpret data and spot trends that inform decisions
  • Executive-ready communication—both in writing and presentations
  • ERP/MRP competence (Infor Syteline, SAP) and planning tool fluency
  • Expertise with CAD/CAE or other data-intensive interfaces
  • SharePoint and MS Office proficiency with advanced Excel
  • Comfort with 10%–25% travel
