Multicraft Maintenance Mechanic (HVAC/Electrical)

A day in this role

Morning begins with a preventive walk-through: you scan equipment health, review overnight tickets, and prioritize what matters most. By mid-morning you might be swapping a motor starter, chasing down a pneumatic leak, or dialing in a VFD while confirming Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) is in place. After lunch, you could be troubleshooting an HVAC call, aligning a pump, wiring a new circuit at 208V, or assisting production with a quick changeover before a run. You’ll wrap with documentation—clear notes in the CMMS—so the next tech can pick up seamlessly.

What you’ll do

• Perform routine facility inspections to spot issues before they escalate.
• Repair and maintain equipment, machinery, and building systems with a safety-first mindset.
• Service, maintain, and troubleshoot HVAC, plumbing, and electrical systems.
• Respond quickly to maintenance requests from staff and leadership, prioritizing critical needs.
• Follow safety policies and maintain a clean, organized workspace.
• Support and help execute preventive maintenance programs that reduce downtime.
• Accurately document work performed, parts used, and test results.
• Partner with teammates to streamline processes and improve facility performance.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; technical certifications are a plus.
• Hands-on experience as a maintenance technician or equivalent role.
• Solid knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, and electrical systems; plus exposure to pneumatics, hydraulics, milling, and lathes.
• Proven troubleshooting and repair capability across mechanical and electrical equipment.
• Detail-oriented problem solver with strong follow-through.
• Clear communicator and dependable team contributor.
• Flexibility to work variable hours, including on-call rotation.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
