Role Highlights

  • Keep a high-volume coil coating operation running with a mix of troubleshooting, repairs, and preventive maintenance
  • Hands-on work across electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and utilities systems
  • Document all work in the CMMS and collaborate with operations on priorities
  • Adhere to OSHA and Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) procedures every step of the way

What You’ll Do

  • Troubleshoot and repair electrical and mechanical failures on production equipment
  • Perform preventive and predictive maintenance on manufacturing equipment
  • Diagnose electrical issues involving motors, controls, sensors, and industrial wiring
  • Repair and maintain gearboxes, conveyors, bearings, chains, couplings, pumps, and rotating equipment
  • Troubleshoot hydraulic and pneumatic systems
  • Maintain plant utilities including boilers, evaporators, wastewater treatment equipment, and compressed air systems
  • Read and interpret electrical schematics and mechanical blueprints
  • Document completed work in the CMMS
  • Follow OSHA safety standards and Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) procedures

Electrical

  • Boilers and evaporators

Must-Haves

  • 3+ years of industrial maintenance experience
  • Strong industrial electrical troubleshooting skills
  • Mechanical troubleshooting and repair experience
  • Hydraulic and pneumatic system experience
  • Ability to read electrical schematics and mechanical drawings
  • Must supply your own hand tools
  • Comfortable in a heavy industrial manufacturing environment

Nice-to-Haves

  • Background in steel, aluminum, coil coating, or other heavy manufacturing
  • CMMS familiarity
  • Welding and fabrication
  • Predictive maintenance exposure

Schedule

  • 3rd Shift: 6:00 PM – 6:00 AM
  • 2-2-3 Rotating Schedule: 2 days on, 2 days off, 3 days on, 3 days off (repeats)
  • 12-hour shifts with built-in overtime opportunities

Environment & Physical Demands

  • 100% on the production floor
  • Heavy industrial manufacturing facility
  • Non-temperature-controlled environment with exposure to heat, noise, dust, and moving equipment
  • PPE required at all times
  • Frequent standing, climbing, bending, lifting, and work around production machinery
