Do you like hands-on, mechanical and electrical work outdoors? Can you spot a pump issue from a change in gauge readings? Are you the person who jumps on a service call and gets systems back on line quickly and safely? If so, this role is for you.

You will

• Operate, service, and repair pumps, motors, valves, and other wastewater assets.
• Troubleshoot equipment malfunctions and fix leaks or failures promptly.
• Complete Tennessee 811-compliant line locates.
• Inspect tanks and perform scheduled visits to treatment sites.
• Monitor meters and gauges to maintain proper system balance.
• Support collection system maintenance and repair tasks.
• Respond to customer and operational service calls.
• Document maintenance and repair actions accurately.

You have

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Commitment to obtain a Wastewater BNS/Collection systems license after 1 year.
• Experience with decentralized wastewater collection and treatment (preferred, not required).
• Strong mechanical and electrical aptitude and familiarity with wastewater processes.
• Skill in diagnosing issues and operating a range of equipment.
• Working knowledge of applicable safety procedures and regulations.

Conditions and tools

Work occurs outdoors in all weather with some heavy lifting. A company vehicle and cell phone are provided to support field work.

Compensation

Negotiable based on experience.
