Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced and results-driven Sales Representative / Business Development Representative to spearhead outbound sales efforts targeting companies in need of software development, IT staffing, and AI solutions. The ideal candidate has 2-3 years of proven success in cold outbound sales, specializing in selling software services (IT staffing or project-based tech solutions) to SMBs or mid-sized companies. This role focuses on generating and qualifying leads, booking meetings with decision-makers, and driving revenue growth through outbound prospecting efforts.
Key Responsibilities:
- Identify and research potential clients that require software development, IT staffing, or AI automation solutions.
- Execute cold outreach via phone, email, and LinkedIn to generate new business opportunities.
- Develop and refine outbound sales strategies, including prospecting techniques and messaging.
- Qualify leads and set appointments with key decision-makers such as CTOs, CIOs, IT Directors, and Business Owners.
- Work closely with the sales and technical teams to ensure a strong handoff of qualified leads.
- Track and maintain all outreach activities, conversations, and progress in the CRM system.
- Stay up to date with industry trends in AI, automation, and software development to position our services effectively.
- Meet and exceed sales targets, including outreach volume, meetings booked, and revenue generated.
Requirements:

2-3 years of experience in outbound sales, business development, or lead generation within a software development, IT staffing, or technology services environment.

Proven track record of successfully booking meetings and closing deals through cold outreach.

Experience selling software services (IT staffing or project-based tech solutions) to SMBs or mid-sized companies.
- Strong understanding of software development and AI-related services (prior experience selling to CTOs or tech teams preferred).
- Experience using CRM tools (HubSpot, Salesforce, or similar) and sales automation tools.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to craft compelling cold outreach messaging.
- Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and comfortable working in a fast-paced, results-driven environment.
- Experience with LinkedIn Sales Navigator, email sequencing tools, and cold calling.
- Ability to articulate technical solutions in a way that resonates with potential clients.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Prior experience selling custom software development, IT staffing, AI automation, or machine learning solutions.
- Experience working with startups or mid-sized tech companies.
- Familiarity with B2B outbound prospecting strategies and consultative sales techniques.
