What you’ll own
- Coordinating with the Scheduler so daily production requirements are achieved, translating plans into action.
- Leading a production crew of 40+—interviewing, hiring, onboarding, training, and developing talent.
- Planning, assigning, and directing work to optimize productivity and cost while maintaining quality.
- Appraising performance; recognizing great work; applying discipline when needed.
- Listening to concerns, addressing complaints, and resolving problems quickly and fairly.
- Ensuring all production data is captured accurately and reported every day.
- Supporting and enhancing quality initiatives aligned to plant goals.
- Implementing safety programs effectively; reviewing them regularly and revising as necessary.
Do you bring the following?
- BA/BS preferred (business or engineering).
- 2+ years of manufacturing experience.
- Supervisory background preferred.
- Strong verbal and interpersonal communication skills.
- Team-first mindset and collaboration skills.
- Ability to manage conflict with maturity and consistency.
- Good computer literacy; SAP experience a plus.
