Warehouse Reach Truck & Pallet Jack Operator

Operate material-handling equipment to move, store, and ship food products accurately and safely.

Core responsibilities

  • Receive: unload trailers, verify counts/condition, and move product to storage locations.
  • Store: stack and place pallets using stand-up and sit-down forklifts, reach/straddle trucks, and walk-behinds.
  • Pick/Ship: assemble orders, check for accuracy and damage/infestation, label, wrap, pack, and repack as needed.
  • Operate to OSHA standards using RF equipment, single and double pallet jacks, and related tools.
  • Meet production targets while maintaining housekeeping standards.
  • Assist with inventory counts, cleaning tasks, forklift battery changes, and other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED preferred.
  • At least 3 months of related experience preferred.
  • Independent worker with strong attention to detail and deadline focus.
  • Dependable attendance and punctuality; ability to work overtime, evenings, or weekends when scheduled.

Physical and environmental expectations

  • Function in areas with 55-inch headroom.
  • Comfortable at heights up to 30 ft. (retrieving product from a safety cage).
  • Work in –15°F controlled areas and in outside ambient weather (heat, cold, precipitation).
  • Stand up to 5 hours in an 8-hour shift.
  • Lift/transfer boxes up to 70 lbs. and carry at least 6 ft. without mechanical aid.
