Intralogistics Conveyor Reliability Technician
A day in this role
As the pulse of a fast-moving distribution center, you’ll start your shift with a quick scan of system dashboards in the CMMS, then walk the floor to listen, look, and feel for what the conveyors, sorters, and robots are telling you. A sensor trips on a divert — you diagnose it, swap a failed component, verify controls, and get product flowing again. Later, you’ll execute scheduled PMs on motors, drives, and batteries, weld a small guard repair, and coordinate a LOTO with operations to tackle a stubborn fault. Every task is about one thing: keeping uptime high and the building safe.
Where you’ll work: Litchfield Park, AZ | Compensation: $29–$35 per hour, depending on experience
What you’ll handle
- Own preventive and corrective maintenance for conveyor systems, sortation, and broader MHE/automation assets.
- Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and robotic subsystems to minimize downtime.
- Rapidly diagnose failures and return systems to service with safe, permanent fixes.
- Leverage a CMMS to prioritize work orders, document repairs, and track maintenance history.
- Care for facility infrastructure: lighting, plumbing, rack/guardrail repairs, and general building needs.
- Maintain and repair motors, VFDs, sensors, and controls; perform battery swaps and PMs on batteries/chargers.
- Manage spare parts and tooling so critical items are on hand when needed.
- Assist with welding, light fabrication, carpentry, and facility projects.
- Champion reliability and continuous improvement initiatives across equipment and process.
