Responsibilities

• Conduct routine maintenance and repairs on heavy equipment, including excavators, bulldozers, and loaders.
• Diagnose mechanical issues and perform necessary repairs to ensure optimal performance.
• Inspect equipment for safety and compliance with industry standards.
• Maintain accurate records of repairs, maintenance, and parts inventory.
• Collaborate with team members to improve equipment reliability and performance.
• Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in heavy equipment technology.
• Adhere to safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification in heavy equipment mechanics preferred.
• Proven experience as a heavy equipment mechanic or similar role.
• Strong understanding of hydraulic, electrical, and mechanical systems.
• Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and schematics.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to operate heavy machinery.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work well in a team environment.
• Must have own tools!
