What Success Looks Like
- You create a culture of safety and compliance while advancing health and environmental programs.
- The Dexter Operating System (DOS) is visible in standard work, meetings, and problem-solving routines.
- KPI meetings highlight issues early; root causes are found quickly; recurrences are eliminated.
- Production schedules align with demand; customers receive orders on time—every time.
- Labor performance targets are met; direct and indirect labor budgets stay on plan.
- Quality procedures are followed rigorously; audits pass with confidence.
- Special projects are executed with urgency and precision.
Your Mission
- Supervise, mentor, and develop Production Supervisors.
- Lead plant safety, health, and environmental initiatives.
- Champion continuous improvement and DOS deployment.
- Run daily/weekly KPI cadences; expose abnormalities; drive corrective actions.
- Own production scheduling for 100% customer satisfaction and on-time delivery.
- Manage labor performance and associated budgets.
- Enforce quality standards and systems.
- Deliver additional tasks and projects as assigned.
Your Background
- Bachelor’s in Business, Engineering, or comparable field preferred; equivalent experience welcome.
- Hands-on Lean and continuous improvement expertise.
- At least 5 years of progressive experience in a similar-sized manufacturing environment.
- Comprehensive knowledge of manufacturing operations and production scheduling, including labor budget control.
- Collaborative, goal-driven, and self-motivated.
- Proficient with essential computer tools.
