Job Summary
We are seeking a reliable and hardworking General Laborer / Landscaper to assist with landscape maintenance, groundskeeping, and general outdoor labor tasks. This role supports the upkeep of residential and/or commercial properties by performing manual labor and using basic landscaping tools and equipment. The ideal candidate is dependable, physically capable, and able to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform general landscaping duties including mowing, trimming, edging, mulching, planting, and weeding
- Assist with landscape installation projects such as sod, shrubs, and trees
- Operate and maintain hand tools and power equipment (e.g., lawn mowers, trimmers, blowers)
- Remove debris, leaves, and other materials to maintain clean and safe work areas
- Load, unload, and transport materials and equipment
- Follow job instructions and work schedules provided by supervisors
- Adhere to safety guidelines and company policies at all times
- Assist with other general labor tasks as needed
Qualifications & Skills
- Prior landscaping or general labor experience preferred, but not required
- Ability to perform physical labor, including lifting up to 50 lbs, bending, standing, and walking for extended periods
- Willingness to work outdoors in varying weather conditions
- Basic knowledge of landscaping tools and equipment is a plus
- Valid driver’s license (preferred, if applicable)
