One of our manufacturing clients is seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to join their team in DeForest, WI.
Pay Rate: $27/hr - $29/hr
Shift: 3rd shift
Responsibilities:
Perform preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance on manufacturing equipment and facility systems
Troubleshoot and repair PLC-controlled machinery, electrical systems, and automated production equipment
Diagnose and resolve mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic issues
Monitor equipment performance and implement corrective actions to improve reliability and efficiency
Read and interpret electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical manuals
Support equipment installations, upgrades, and process improvement initiatives
Complete maintenance work orders and maintain accurate records within CMMS systems
Collaborate with production and engineering teams to minimize downtime and improve operational performance
Qualifications:
High school diploma or GED; technical certification preferred
3–6 years of experience working with PLC-controlled equipment in a manufacturing environment
Strong troubleshooting skills in electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems
Experience with industrial automation, controls, motors, sensors, and drives
Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and technical documentation
Experience with Allen-Bradley, Siemens, or similar PLC platforms
Familiarity with CMMS systems and maintenance documentation
Welding and fabrication experience
