Maintenance Technician

One of our manufacturing clients is seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to join their team in DeForest, WI.

Pay Rate: $27/hr - $29/hr

Shift: 3rd shift

Responsibilities:

  • Perform preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance on manufacturing equipment and facility systems

  • Troubleshoot and repair PLC-controlled machinery, electrical systems, and automated production equipment

  • Diagnose and resolve mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic issues

  • Monitor equipment performance and implement corrective actions to improve reliability and efficiency

  • Read and interpret electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical manuals

  • Support equipment installations, upgrades, and process improvement initiatives

  • Complete maintenance work orders and maintain accurate records within CMMS systems

  • Collaborate with production and engineering teams to minimize downtime and improve operational performance

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or GED; technical certification preferred

  • 3–6 years of experience working with PLC-controlled equipment in a manufacturing environment

  • Strong troubleshooting skills in electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems

  • Experience with industrial automation, controls, motors, sensors, and drives

  • Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and technical documentation

  • Experience with Allen-Bradley, Siemens, or similar PLC platforms

  • Familiarity with CMMS systems and maintenance documentation

  • Welding and fabrication experience
