Industrial Maintenance Supervisor – Electro‑Mechanical Systems

Location: Greensboro, North Carolina

Compensation

$33.74 – $43.87 per hour, based on experience

Schedule

  • Core shift: 6:30am – 3:00pm
  • 8-hour shift, Monday–Friday

What you’ll do

  • Troubleshoot, service, and tune AC/DC motors and drive systems.
  • Diagnose and isolate electrical and electronic issues to root cause.
  • Execute preventive maintenance on diverse production machinery.
  • Complete general building and structural repairs as needed.
  • Learn and perform tool changes and equipment setups on production and packaging lines.
  • Document work clearly and communicate status at shift handoff; use work orders and the maintenance logbook.
  • Follow written procedures, including work orders, PM schedules, and Process Safety Management (PSM) maintenance processes with minimal follow-up.
  • Use multimeters, ammeters, and related diagnostic instruments effectively.
  • Apply safe methods for cutting, welding, and operating shop equipment during mechanical and electrical repairs.
  • Adhere to all department and plant policies and procedures.

  • Demonstrated mechanical proficiency and strong hands-on leadership skills.
  • Personal hand tools.
  • Valid driver’s license and Pactiv certification (training provided).
  • Ability to operate a lathe, mill, and related shop tools.
  • Capability to use shop welding equipment.
  • Consistently strong performance, safety, and attendance history.
  • Commitment to outstanding Safety, Performance, and Attendance.
  • Team-first mindset; follow safety rules, Good Manufacturing Practices, and CDC guidelines.

Skills & Work Conditions

  • Read, write, and communicate effectively in English.
  • Solid computer proficiency and interpersonal communication.
  • Reliable punctuality for scheduled shifts; legible, accurate documentation for production/quality records.
  • Comfort working in fast-paced environments (manufacturing, packing houses, warehousing, construction, fieldwork, hot conditions).
  • Willingness to work overtime, weekends, and holidays as required.
  • Flexibility to work any shift and participate in an on-call rotation.
  • Ability to safely operate forklifts and man lifts.
  • Minimum of 2 years completed at a technical school.
