CNC Machine Tool Field Service Specialist

A day in your week

Morning brings a visit to a precision shop in San Antonio where you diagnose a spindle issue on a 5-axis VMC. After lunch, youre up the road to Austin to complete a install checklist on a new CNC lathe and coach the team on basic operation. Youll close the day updating service records on your laptop while your company-covered fuel receipt auto-uploads, then head home. Most days are local across the San AntonioAustin market with only minimal overnight travel.

What youll tackle

• Own day-to-day field service for our customers: troubleshooting, installations, and preventive maintenance tailored to the local market.
• Diagnose and repair mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical systems on CNC machining and turning centers.
• Resolve customer issues, provide sales team support, and deliver some end-user training when needed.
• Communicate clearly with operators, engineers, and leaders across varied facilities.
• Represent Ellison Technologies with professionalism and integrityyour actions align with our business expectations.
• Take full ownership of service cases and projects, maintaining complete customer records and technical documentation.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.

Your background

Youve installed, maintained, and repaired CNC machining centers and CNC turning centers, and youre confident working across mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical domains.
