TekPro, a direct-hire search partner for advanced manufacturing, is recruiting CNC machinists skilled in multi-axis milling and turning for a top-tier contract manufacturer in Fremont, CA serving the medical and aerospace markets.

• Established precision shop with 3–5 axis milling, turning, grinding, and swiss capabilities

Compensation & schedule

• Base pay: $32/hr–$42/hr (skill-dependent)
• 1st Shift: 5:00am–1:30pm
• Early Swing: 1:30pm–10:00pm (10% shift differential)
• Consistent overtime available
• Direct hire with health, dental, vision, and 401(k)

Core responsibilities

• Operate multiple CNC mills and lathes to meet production goals
• Perform tool changes, monitor tool wear, and execute changeovers
• Inspect parts using precision measurement tools; verify features per GD&T
• Apply troubleshooting skills to maintain throughput and quality
• Work confidently with G-code to ensure programs run as intended

Required proficiencies

• GD&T interpretation and application
• CNC tooling selection and use
• Hands-on troubleshooting on the shop floor
• G-code familiarity
• CNC machine setup & changeover
• Precision measurement & hand metrology

Equipment/tech exposure

• Horizontal Machining Center (3–4 axis)
