(Senior) Product Marketing Manager

About the Role

A well-funded B2B SaaS scaleup in the industrial procurement space is looking for a (Senior) Product Marketing Manager to build and own the PMM function from the ground up. You'll sit at the heart of Go-to-Market, shaping positioning, launches, pricing, and sales enablement — and establishing a trusted voice for modern procurement among manufacturing and industrial buyers. This is a high-ownership, high-impact role in a fast-moving, on-site Munich team.

What You'll Do

  • Build and own the end-to-end PMM function: positioning, packaging, launches, and enablement.
  • Craft compelling messaging and positioning that resonates with procurement leaders and C-level buyers in industrial sectors.
  • Drive product launches from strategy through execution and impact measurement.
  • Create sales enablement materials — decks, battlecards, and training — to help the revenue team win and expand deals.
  • Partner with GTM leadership to define pricing and packaging strategies that drive conversion and expansion.
  • Track and synthesise competitive intelligence to sharpen win/loss understanding.
  • Collaborate with marketing on thought leadership content, events, and campaigns targeting B2B procurement and industrial audiences.
  • Work hands-on in a dynamic environment, iterating on processes and tooling continuously.

What We're Looking For

Must-haves:

  • Minimum 2+ years in B2B SaaS product marketing (ideally at a Series B+ company); or 1–2 years in management consulting with strong software GTM exposure.
  • For senior candidates: 5+ years with a demonstrated track record of progression in product marketing.
  • Proven ability to build and own a PMM function while staying hands-on with execution.
  • Strong commercial instinct and storytelling ability — translating technical capabilities into clear customer value.
  • Systems thinking across positioning, packaging, pricing, and enablement as an integrated engine.
  • Daily use of AI tools and an experimental mindset toward new workflows.
  • Fluency in both English and German (written and verbal) — non-negotiable.
  • Proactive, adaptable, and comfortable operating with pace and ambiguity.

Nice-to-have:

  • Experience in procurement, supply chain, or selling to industrial/manufacturing companies.
  • Background in content, events, or campaigns within a B2B procurement or industrial context.
