CNC Lathe Operator

Overview

We are seeking a skilled CNC Lathe Operator to join our dynamic team in Hiram, OH. If you have a passion for precision machining and a keen eye for detail, this is the perfect opportunity for you! In this role, you will be responsible for operating CNC lathe machines to produce high-quality components while ensuring safety and efficiency in the workplace.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate CNC lathe machines according to specifications and engineering drawings.
• Monitor machine operations and make adjustments as necessary to maintain quality standards.
• Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting on CNC equipment.
• Inspect finished products for accuracy and adherence to specifications using measuring tools; mics, calipers, tape measurers, dial indicators, go / no-go gauges.
• Collaborate with team members to optimize production processes and improve efficiency.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to safety protocols at all times.
• Document production data and report any issues to the supervisor promptly.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification in CNC machining preferred.

• Proven experience as a CNC Lathe Operator; familiar with fanuc controls

• Strong understanding of CNC programming and machining processes.

• Proficient in reading and interpreting technical drawings and blueprints.

• Familiarity with measuring instruments such as calipers and micrometers.

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

• Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.

• Willingness to work flexible hours and overtime as needed.
