Overview

Join our dynamic team as an Ironworker Foreman specializing in Industrial Projects, where you will lead and oversee the installation, maintenance, and repair of structural steel and ironwork on large-scale industrial construction sites. This role is vital in ensuring that projects are completed safely, efficiently, and to the highest quality standards. As a key leader on site, you will coordinate teams, manage schedules, and uphold strict safety regulations to drive project success from start to finish.

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise ironworking crews on industrial construction sites, ensuring work is performed safely, efficiently, and according to project specifications.
• Review construction drawings and technical plans to interpret structural requirements and coordinate installation activities accordingly.
• Manage daily operations by developing work plans, assigning tasks, and monitoring progress to meet project timelines.
• Ensure compliance with all federal and industry-specific safety regulations, including OSHA standards, promoting a safety-first culture across the site.
• Oversee quality control processes, inspecting work for adherence to blueprints, technical drawings, and safety protocols.
• Coordinate with project managers, engineers, and subcontractors using construction management software such as ProCore, Bluebeam, Primavera P6, or Prolog for scheduling and documentation.
• Manage crew performance through effective communication, training, and supervision while maintaining a focus on crew management and team development.

Requirements

• Proven experience supervising ironworkers or steel erection crews within industrial or commercial construction environments.
• Strong knowledge of construction management software including ProCore, Bluebeam, Primavera P6, Primavera P3 or P6 Enterprise Project Portfolio Management (EPPM), HeavyBid or similar estimating tools.
• Demonstrated ability to read and interpret complex blueprints and technical drawings accurately.
• Extensive understanding of construction scheduling principles and project scheduling tools to coordinate activities effectively.
• Familiarity with federal construction safety regulations such as OSHA standards and construction safety management practices.
• Experience managing budgets, contracts, and project documentation through systems like Contracts Management Software or Prolog.
• Skilled in supervising teams on-site with excellent managerial communication skills; able to motivate crews while enforcing safety protocols rigorously.
• Knowledge of pipeline installation processes is a plus along with proficiency in using tools like ohmmeters for electrical testing when applicable.
• Valid OSHA certification along with relevant certifications in construction safety management are required; additional certifications in heavy rigging or specialized steel erection are advantageous.
