SaaS Sales Development Representative, 3D Engineering Solutions

A Day in the Role

Picture your morning in Germantown, WI (On-site): you open the CRM, scan new inbound leads, prioritize your call list, and craft tailored outreach that speaks to each prospect’s business challenges. By mid-morning, you’re on discovery calls uncovering workflows and bottlenecks, connecting those needs to industry-leading 3D engineering software and additive manufacturing possibilities. After lunch, you sync with sales and technical teammates to shape messaging and next steps. You close the day documenting every interaction so TAE receives a clean handoff—and you tee up tomorrow’s multi-channel prospecting.

Role Overview

As a Business Development Representative at GSC, you’ll introduce organizations to powerful 3D engineering solutions, translating curiosity into qualified interest. This is an excellent launchpad into tech sales with meaningful mentorship and advancement opportunities.

What You’ll Tackle

  • Call and prospect to expand the customer base
  • Create new interest among current accounts
  • Deliver business development presentations via phone, email, video, social platforms, and more
  • Record all customer interactions and prepare thorough notes to be passed to TAE
  • Communicate the value of 3D engineering software and services clearly and confidently
  • Partner closely with experienced sales and technical teams to move opportunities forward
  • Continuously learn in a supportive environment that rewards curiosity and initiative

What Sets You Up for Success

  • Excitement for learning new technologies, products, and services
  • Foundational understanding of sales and marketing principles
  • Excellent phone, communication, and organizational skills
  • 1+ year of selling experience
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or related field preferred
  • Familiarity with 3D tech (CAD like SOLIDWORKS and Additive Manufacturing/3D Printing) is ideal, but training is available
  • Helpful: exposure to SaaS
  • Comfort with Microsoft Office
  • CRM experience preferred
