Your mission
Guide 8–12 team members on the production floor under the direction of a Group Leader. Build capability, uphold quality, and foster a culture of safety and improvement.
How you’ll make an impact
- Kick off each night with a sharp pre-shift huddle covering safety, quality, HR updates, and output goals.
- Train and support new hires, ensuring they understand Standard Work and feel confident in their roles.
- Safeguard the workplace by enforcing safe practices and securing proper PPE.
- Encourage and implement team ideas that improve flow, quality, and productivity.
- Surface issues quickly to the Group Leader and coordinate solutions.
- Maintain strong communication with other Team Leads and Leaders for seamless handoffs.
- Own KPIs and visual performance metrics for your zone.
- Create, maintain, and audit Team Member Standard Work.
- Manage Hour by Hour Boards, complete 5S audits, perform DuPont STOP observations, and monitor work stacks.
- Coach through conflict and collaborate with Group and Area Leaders to resolve challenges.
- Use SAP to support production activities and data integrity.
- Assist with additional tasks that keep operations running smoothly.
When you’ll work
3rd Shift schedule: 8:00 PM – 6:00 AM, Sunday through Thursday morning; overtime may continue into Friday morning.
What you’ll need
- Experience leading others in work or volunteer settings.
- Knowledge of manufacturing processes preferred.
- Servant leadership mindset with strong people skills.
- Excellent communication, problem-solving, and troubleshooting abilities.
- Proven leadership track record.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
Physical demands and screenings
- Comfort with standing for long periods; some sitting, manual dexterity, stooping, and bending.
- Passing a pre-employment physical including a baseline test of lifting a minimum of 50 pounds
- Passing a pre-employment drug screen and background check
