Operations Scheduling Analyst, CPG

Can you transform dynamic demand into a schedule the plant can execute flawlessly? Do you enjoy balancing materials, capacity, and inventory to hit service targets? If yes, you might be the analyst who keeps our consumer product lines humming.

How you’ll make an impact

  1. Turn forecasts into action: Convert sales forecasts and customer orders into a weekly production schedule, sequencing work by department per standard routings and lead times.
  2. Stay ahead of risk: Perform quarterly supply–demand analyses, flagging 12–18 month concerns; analyze options built into the production schedule and recommend tradeoffs.
  3. Keep inventory healthy: Actively manage work‑in‑process and finished goods levels; own inventory counting and cycle counting.
  4. Feed the lines: Ensure just‑in‑time delivery of raw materials to meet planned work orders; assist with raw material procurement as needed.
  5. Measure what matters: Track actual output vs. the Master Production Plan; define and report metrics for performance against the requested schedule; drive gap‑closure actions.
  6. Align the network: Support inventory strategy, the supply plan to meet demand, and associated resource implications.
  7. Communicate clearly: Publish daily production plans to the plant and Corporate Supply Chain and partner with Procurement, Customer Service, and internal departments to maximize throughput.
  8. Adapt and contribute: Prepare operations reports and take on other duties that keep the operation running smoothly.
