Job description:

Holland Sharpe is currently seeking experienced Ironworkers for project-based industrial work. We are looking for skilled and dependable individuals with experience in structural steel erection, installation, and industrial construction.

Responsibilities & Requirements:

• Previous Ironworker or structural steel erection experience required
• Erect, position, and install structural steel, beams, columns, supports, and other steel components
• Connect structural steel using bolts, fasteners, and welding methods as required
• Read and interpret blueprints, structural drawings, layouts, and project specifications
• Perform accurate layout, measuring, positioning, and alignment of structural components
• Assist with rigging, signaling, hoisting, and positioning steel and other heavy materials
• Use hand tools, power tools, impact wrenches, grinders, torches, and other ironworking equipment
• Install structural supports, platforms, stairs, handrails, and related steel components as required
• Work safely from ladders, scaffolding, aerial lifts, and elevated structures
• Coordinate with crane operators, riggers, welders, and other skilled trades during erection and installation
• Follow all required fall protection, PPE, and jobsite safety procedures
• Must be comfortable working at heights and outdoors in an industrial construction environment
• Must be dependable, safety-conscious, and capable of working effectively as part of a field crew
