What You’ll Tackle

  • New builds: Install electrical systems for construction and expansion projects.
  • Root-cause analysis: Track down issues across power, lighting, controls, and equipment to resolve distribution failures.
  • Improvements: Modify and upgrade existing systems, components, and connected equipment.
  • Repairs: Fix damaged equipment, conduit, and conductors; support additional tasks aligned with company goals.
  • Safety: Work safely at all times and model safe habits.
  • Escalation: Immediately report faulty machines or defective materials to your supervisor.

  • Troubleshooting: Respond to equipment and machinery calls.
  • Maintenance & records: Perform minor maintenance and complete required documentation.
  • Shop work: Use saws, grinders, drills, and related tools; verify conformity to specifications.
  • Technical execution: Read and apply shop drawings, blueprints, sketches, work orders, and verbal instructions.
  • Housekeeping: Maintain an organized, clean workspace.

What You Bring

Must-Haves

  • Current state electrician license (Journeyman or Master).
  • 3–5 years in commercial/industrial settings with power distribution, motor controls, and lighting systems.
  • Comfort working safely from 120V to 480V.
  • Fluency in schematics, wiring diagrams, single-line drawings, and control logic diagrams.

Great-to-Haves

  • Experience with PLCs, VFDs, and BMS platforms.
  • Manufacturing or large-facility maintenance background, including conveyors and production equipment.
  • Associate degree or technical certification in Electrical Technology, Industrial Maintenance, or related.
