(Senior) Account Executive – Industrial B2B SaaS

About the Role

A well-funded AI-powered procurement intelligence platform for the manufacturing industry is looking for an Account Executive to own the full sales cycle in Germany. You'll be based on-site in Munich, working closely with a strong prospecting team to sell to Heads of Procurement and C-level stakeholders at manufacturing and industrial companies — helping them turn procurement from a cost center into a strategic advantage.

What You'll Do

  • Qualify and close new B2B software customers across manufacturing and industrial verticals.
  • Manage the end-to-end sales process: first meeting, demos, negotiations, and signed contracts.
  • Collaborate with a dedicated prospecting team to maintain and convert a qualified pipeline.
  • Build compelling business cases that clearly demonstrate product value and ROI to customers.
  • Develop tailored, customer-specific sales strategies to create long-term partnerships.
  • Collect and relay customer feedback to inform ongoing product innovation.
  • Work cross-functionally with product, marketing, and customer success to continuously improve the sales motion.
  • Contribute to building and training a high-performance sales organization.
  • Identify and experiment with AI-driven workflows to accelerate sales effectiveness.

What We're Looking For

Required:

  • Minimum 1–2 years of closing experience in B2B software sales (senior candidates: 5+ years).
  • Experience selling into industrial or technical environments, ideally with procurement or supply chain contacts.
  • Fluent written and spoken German (excellent level required).
  • Proficiency with CRM systems (e.g., HubSpot) and comfort tracking key sales metrics.
  • Proven ability to manage the full sales cycle from prospecting through contract closure.
  • Strong consultative, advisory selling skills with a solution-oriented mindset.
  • Willingness to work on-site in Munich and engage directly with customers in person.
  • Experience using data to articulate added value and build customer business cases.

Nice to Have:

  • Familiarity with procurement or supply chain domains.
  • Experience with outbound lead generation in collaboration with a prospecting team.
  • Background at enterprise software, consulting, or industrial tech companies.
