A day on the line

As the facility hums overnight, you step into a cleanroom area serving a slow-release medication manufacturer. You review the work order, set up your station, and bring the packet sealing systems online. Through the shift, you’ll move between the packet sealer, paper loading equipment, and ultrasonic sealing unit—keeping each running smoothly and safely while checking quality at every step.

What you’ll handle

• Run and adjust packet sealing machinery, paper loading equipment, and ultrasonic sealing systems to meet production targets.
• Perform routine in-process checks to verify specifications and product quality.
• Examine finished packets and remove/flag any that do not meet standards.
• Escalate defects, nonconforming materials, or process concerns to a technician or supervisor immediately.
• Work by the book—adhere to ESHA and GMP expectations to maintain a safe, compliant operation.
• Read and carry out work orders and detailed process instructions with precision.
• Contribute to 6S and team performance initiatives focused on continuous improvement.

What you bring

• High school diploma or GED.
• Comfort with basic math for measurements and production counts.
• Ability to read, write, and understand English instructions, work orders, and documentation.
• Sharp attention to detail and a quality-first mindset.
• Consistency in following safety procedures and company policies.
• A collaborative approach and enthusiasm for improving how the team works.
