Lead a high-visibility retail eyewear location as the operational and customer experience champion. As the Store Manager and Optician, you will orchestrate daily operations, guide a skilled team, and ensure every guest leaves with eyewear that’s crafted accurately, fitted precisely, and delivered with exceptional service.

A Day in the Life
You start by aligning the day’s sales targets with your team, reviewing inventory and lab priorities to keep eyewear production fast and precise. Throughout the day you coach associates on service etiquette, troubleshoot complex fits, and personally adjust and assemble eyeglasses to meet customer needs. You address customer concerns with honesty and integrity, partner with the District Manager on initiatives, and close the day with a quick huddle to celebrate wins and set tomorrow’s focus.
What You’ll Lead
- End-to-end store operations: sales execution, accounting/finance oversight, and inventory control.
- Service excellence: resolve customer issues professionally while creating memorable experiences.
- Production quality: ensure speed, efficiency, and accuracy in creating eyewear products.
- People leadership: supervise, train, and inspire a collaborative and engaging team culture.
- Team alignment: run regular meetings to communicate goals and elevate customer service.
- Technical craft: adjust, fit, and assemble eyeglasses tailored to each customer.
- Partnership: support the District Manager with reporting, execution, and continuous improvement.
What You Bring
- High school diploma or equivalent (G.E.D) required; Associate degree in opticianry or related education preferred.
- ABO Certification required.
- 1+ years of retail store management experience.
- 2+ years as an optician in a retail or optometrist’s office.
- Flexible availability, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
- Clear, confident communication skills and the ability to juggle priorities in a fast-paced setting.
Compensation & Benefits
- Pay Range: $69,000–$89,000 annually
