Built for the Best Machinists
If you’re the machinist everyone turns to when things get complicated—this is your lane.
We’re hiring a true Master Machinist in CNC Turning who can take full ownership from print → process → production. This is a high-impact, high-autonomy role for someone who doesn’t wait for answers—you create them.
This is not a button-pushing position. It’s for someone who thrives on technical depth, precision, and solving real machining challenges.
What You’ll Own
Full lifecycle of new part introduction—from blueprint analysis to proven production
Interpret complex prints (GD&T / PMI) and determine optimal machining strategy
Program at the machine (Mazatrol & G-code), set up, prove out, and optimize
Modify tooling, bore jaws, and develop workholding solutions
Validate first-piece, adjust programs in real time, and establish repeatable standards
Troubleshoot machine, tooling, and process issues independently
Support multiple machines and teammates without sacrificing quality or output
Equipment & Technology
Work in a technically advanced environment featuring:
Multi-axis CNC lathes, twin spindle, and Swiss-style machines
Lights-out automation with robotic pick-and-place systems
Equipment from leading builders including Mazak, Okuma, Nakamura, Citizen, and Mori
Controls & Programming
Primary: Mazatrol (majority of machines)
Secondary: Fanuc & Mitsubishi (G & M Code)
Strong Mazatrol expertise is critical for success
What Sets You Apart
You can take a raw print and independently build a production-ready process
You program at the control, not just offline
You solve problems—you don’t pass them along
You’re highly skilled with precision inspection tools
You can manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, high-expectation shop
Experience
10–15+ years in precision machining (turning-focused preferred)
5–8+ years of hands-on setup and programming
Extensive experience with Mazatrol and CNC turning platforms
Why This Opportunity
Work with advanced equipment and automation
High level of trust, autonomy, and technical ownership
Be part of a team that values skill, precision, and accountability
Opportunity to make a direct impact on process improvement and efficiency
