Production Quality Systems Inspector

Build quality from the inside out

Imagine stepping into a fast‑paced line where your eye for detail keeps products moving flawlessly. You’ll be the guardian of standards—verifying materials, auditing processes, and equipping teammates with the knowledge to do it right the first time.

How you’ll contribute

  1. Continuously monitor product and process performance; champion corrective and preventive actions and long‑term countermeasures.
  2. Partner across production, engineering, and quality to ensure consistent output and a culture of excellence.
  3. Conduct audits on manufacturing lines against approved processes, procedures, and requirements.
  4. Inspect incoming, in‑process, and outgoing materials to CelLink and customer Quality/Engineering specifications.
  5. Escalate and communicate emerging/trending issues promptly.
  6. Lead containment and sorting; run MRB activities when needed.
  7. Advance our Quality Management System with documentation, metrics, and feedback loops.
  8. Train operators/inspectors on inspection techniques, quality expectations, and rework.
  9. Prepare and review Work Instructions, Quality Alerts, and related quality documentation.

Your profile

  • High school diploma required; college degree or equivalent beneficial.
  • 1+ year of quality inspection experience.
  • Skilled in mechanical inspection and precision metrology (calipers, micrometers, thread gauges).
  • Comfortable with Microsoft Office.
  • Resourceful problem solver; enthusiastic about learning.
  • Detail‑oriented organizer who adapts quickly in a start‑up setting.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills; collaborative team contributor with a strong work ethic.

Preferred experience

  • ISO 9001, IATF 16949, APQP, PPAP, FMEA familiarity.
  • Lean manufacturing and 5S knowledge.
  • Experience in start‑up environments.

Environment, ergonomics, and PPE

Work spans office and manufacturing areas. You’ll talk/hear regularly; frequently use hands/fingers to handle tools; and often stand, walk, sit, reach, and push/pull. At times you may climb/balance and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. Must be able to lift/move up to 50 lbs without assistance. Vision requirements include close, distance, color, and peripheral vision, plus the ability to adjust focus. Expect high noise levels and moving equipment on the shop floor, occasional nuisance dust, and skin exposure to machine‑related chemicals. PPE—safety glasses, safety shoes, bump caps, gloves, hair nets, masks, and clean‑room frocks—may be required in accordance with safety procedures.
