A day in this role
You start the morning partnering with Infrastructure and Architecture teams to map out where automation can eliminate toil and harden reliability. Midday, you translate that vision into code—PowerShell and Python here, Ansible and Terraform there—designing reusable patterns that scale across Linux/Unix, Windows, Network, Backup, Storage, and Platform Services. By afternoon, you review a workflow diagram and runbook for a new Morpheus-powered orchestration, validate compliance controls, and brief leadership on progress, risks, and measurable outcomes like time saved and error reduction. You wrap up by mentoring engineers, sharing automation-first practices, and queuing up the next iteration in a culture of continuous improvement.
