Job Summary
The IT Network Engineer is responsible for the design, implementation, management, and optimization of the organization’s network infrastructure. The role ensures high availability, security, scalability, and performance of network systems while supporting business continuity and disaster recovery requirements. The Network Engineer will work closely with IT teams and stakeholders to deliver reliable and secure networking solutions aligned with organizational and industry best practices.
Mandatory Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s
degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology,
or related field.
- Experience: Minimum 10
years in network design, architecture, implementation, and management.
- Language: Fluency in
English (verbal and written). Arabic is preferred but not mandatory.
- Certifications: Cisco
CCNP/CCIE, Fortinet NSE, CompTIA Network+, or equivalent.
Technical Skills
- Expertise in network
design and architecture, including high-availability and disaster recovery
solutions.
- Strong knowledge of
network protocols (TCP/IP, BGP, OSPF).
- Hands-on experience
with:
- Routing and switching
strategies
- Fortinet networks
(switches, firewalls, WLAN)
- Role-Based Access
Control (RBAC)
- Content filtering
solutions
- Proficiency in SD-WAN
and cloud networking (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).
- Familiarity with network
automation tools (Python, Ansible).
- Knowledge of network
monitoring and management tools.
- Strong understanding of
network security principles and compliance.
Soft Skills
- Excellent
problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Strong communication
skills for explaining technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
