What You’ll Do

• Perform precise mold changeovers.
• Troubleshoot electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and mechanical systems using diagrams, OEM manuals, and engineering specs.
• Disassemble/replace faulty parts with hoists, hand tools, and power tools; assess form/texture to validate wear.
• Measure and verify tolerances with rules, calipers, and micrometers.
• Execute preventive maintenance and thorough cleaning on equipment.
• Maintain strict compliance with OSHA, Federal, Local, and plant safety standards.
• Apply hands-on knowledge of plant utilities like chillers and compressors.
• Report mold/equipment defects to leadership promptly.
• Document actions, anomalies, and follow-ups to ensure seamless shift-to-shift continuity.
• Complete assigned training requirements.
• Support additional maintenance tasks as assigned.

Must-Have Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent plus technical training.
• Minimum 4 years in a maintenance mechanic/technician role within manufacturing.
• Forklift operation experience.
• Clear English communication (written/verbal) and computer literacy for documentation.
• Personally supplied maintenance tools.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Availability for overtime, including weekends, as required.

Compensation

The reasonable hourly range for this position is $26.00–$28.00. Final compensation is determined by a variety of factors such as your skills, experience, training, certifications/licensure, and current business needs. It is uncommon for offers to land at the top of the range; each decision reflects the specifics of the case.
