Optical Manufacturing Operations Supervisor

A day in the life

You begin the shift huddle by aligning safety, quality, and output targets. Dashboards light up with team and individual metrics. You coach a new technician on a process tweak, then connect with an offsite vendor via remote interface to troubleshoot a lab machine alert. Midday, you review production and maintenance logs, finalize vacation schedules based on seasonal demand, and hold a quick stand-up to reinforce our unique value to customers. Before wrap-up, you verify compliance with company/manufacturer procedures, ensure HIPAA-protected data stays secure, and recognize a team win that pushes us past our daily goal.
