About Overton Industries
For decades, Overton Industries has built a reputation for crafting precision components and tooling that power the automotive, aerospace, and industrial sectors. We combine modern technology with expert craftsmanship to deliver consistently exceptional quality.
A Day in the Life
You start your day reviewing prints and CAD models for a new run. You select the right fixtures and tooling, dial in your setup on mills, lathes, and grinders, and verify offsets. As parts come off the machine, you measure with micrometers, calipers, and CMM to confirm tight tolerances. You fine-tune feeds and speeds for cycle-time gains, keep equipment in peak condition with routine maintenance, and collaborate with engineering and production to elevate process reliability and throughput. Throughout, you log production data and uphold a clean, safe, and organized work area.
