Manufacturing Plant Finance Controller

Shape the financial rhythm of our plant at Autocam/NNinc

As the Plant Controller, you are the financial nerve center for our manufacturing site. You will translate operational activity into clear financial insights, guide leaders with data-backed recommendations, and ensure the integrity of our month-end close and reporting.

A day in the life

  • Start your morning reviewing prior-day production and inventory movements, flagging any anomalies that could impact cost or margin.
  • Partner with plant leadership to walk through performance drivers—price, volume, scrap, mix—and align on actions to improve outcomes.
  • Lead accounting team stand-ups, assigning priorities for close tasks, reconciliations, and variance investigations.
  • Prepare and refine monthly financial statements, ensuring accuracy versus budget, forecast, and prior year—with crisp variance narratives.
  • Oversee inventory accounting: schedule and validate physical counts, reconcile sub-ledgers to the general ledger, and resolve discrepancies.
  • Advance continuous improvement: streamline close processes, strengthen internal controls, and enhance reporting clarity.
